The IMPRO Amsterdam Foundation, known under Dutch law as 'Stichting IPMRO Amsterdam', was established to organise IMPRO Amsterdam, a festival for (improv) theater, and also to support (improv) theater in and around Amsterdam. The foundation is a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers.
The foundation serves as a formal organisational structure to support the organisation of the festival, which was previously organised by Theatersport Vereniging Amsterdam (TVA), the largest improv club of The Netherlands.
